A Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, Andrew started his residential PRS and leasehold management practice in 1995, selling in 2011. Andrew was UK Residential Director at RICS from 2013-2016, before taking the CEO role at IRPM, the UK's leading provider of professional qualifications and learning in the leasehold management and Build-to-Rent sectors. Andrew is passionate about raising standards across the residential property management sectors and encouraging property professionals to be a progressive and ethical force for good.
Nigel has an extensive international career in downstream oil, financial software and investment banking. He founded a property management company in 2009 and joined the board of ARMA in 2015. In 2016 he was appointed as ARMA’s CEO.
Nigel represents ARMA in its interactions with Government Ministries, Parliament, relevant bodies, TV and press. He is a frequent contributor of articles and presentations on all aspects of leasehold.
Nygel has over 30 years’ experience of leading multi-site customer facing businesses in property management, financial services and retail.
He has a proven track record in combining the customer agenda with executional power, demonstrating hands on leadership in driving change and reducing operational costs.
Nygel is an Exec Director of ReSI Property Management. He was formerly on the Board of ARMA (Association of Residential Managing Agents) as champion of the customer, as well as MD of FirstPort property services.
Bob Smytherman is Hon Chairman of The Federation of Private Residents Association Ltd as we as being Director & Company Secretary of his own Resident Management Company (RMC) which self -manage a 46 flat development on the South Coast.
Bob also has 19 years experience as a local authority Councillor and 12 years as a County Councillor in the area where he lives.
